Schools Out!

Today was the last day of school for me, and normally I am the first person out the door once those bells ring. But today I felt different about this school ending thing! I have become quite close to a lot of people there this year, and it sad to see them go. Since I am going to be on an epic journey with Caitie and my momma this summer!! So when I was driving with my dad back from Catura's house last night, I was stopped at a stop light, and soooo many memories rushed into my head, then I thought about school ending and how sad and weird that really is! I am the first one to admit school is not my favorite pass time, but it should be appreciated...sometimes. Haha. School is hard, and so many times I just don't feel like doing it, I feel like throwing in the towel and saying "I QUIT!" but that's WAY to easy to do! You know, think about it! Think about how much easier it is to quit doing anything that's hard and a lot of work, then keep press on and really reap the amazing benefits of pushing through! I have a lot of respect for people who never give up on what they really want to do! I really want to graduate high school, and I really want to change the world! But I will never be able to do anything if I just give up when things get hard! Which is what I do A LOT :S heh.

So back to school now. Today was so boring, lame, practically a waste of time. All we did is sit in a desk and watch the clock turn from 8:20 to 9:01 to 10:45 to 11:13 till 12:20!! But that's besides the point! first off I just want to write how much I am going to miss Connor who is leaving for a different school (I can't blame him) and Broc who is moving to upstate New York (really can't blame him!!). Tonight at graduation will be the last time I see them for a long long time! And that really bums me out! They are two of the funniest kids I know, and if you two are reading this, I will love you both foreverrr! :D Then there is John!! JPG!!! My brother from another mother practically! We became so close this year, we told each other everything, and had a lot of ups and downs but through it all we've been there for each other through the thick and thin!! But since he is a Senior he is going to be leaving back for Korea (his hometown) and it's sad he is probably not coming back!!! AHHH!! Well maybe all my sob stories are meant for another blog, because I bet most of you have stopped readingby now...and probably won't leave me a comment, because hardly anyone does. But that's A.O.K!!
So right now it feels like next Monday I am going to have to wake up at 6:00, drink a couple cups of tea, then go to school. But in reality i'm all done for the summer!!! It's sooooo weird! I can't even explain it well. Write to me about how your last day of school was! Whether it was 20 years ago or just the other day let me know!!
Thanks for reading if you read this!! But I gotta run!!
Peaceout :D

Happy Birthday Daddy!

So June 1st was my Daddy's birthday!! I wanted to write this blog sooner, saying how much I love him...but I have been so incredibly busy lately its insane!!! Becaue it's in the morning before I leave for school I can't write much, but I know I won't have anytime after school. Its the last week of school technically 3 and a half more days!!! WOOT WOOT! Anyways I will write more about that later. So Sunday was my Dads birthday and what I wanted to do is act like I forgot then lead him on a clue hunt to the park, and have a picnic with everybody. But since that didn't work out, we had "barbaque!" (basically greg made hamburgers) and Tiffany, Greg, PRESLEY! David, Allison, Paula, Me, and of course my Dad (Kevin). Unffortunitly Emily my oldest sister was able to make it....probably because she is in Europe!! I dunno maybe thats the reason...you decide ;). I did get to make my dad a clue hunt though later that evening after eating lunch, playing with presley in the sprinklers, Allison, Paula and I went shopping while my dad napped (he's getting old!! hehe!). Then later after he finished his clue hunt he came back from where the last clue had led him and we had pizza, chocolote covered penut m&m's!! YUM then just talked the rest of the night. It was a pretty chill day! I loved seeing presley!! And I loved hanging out with my dad!! It was a good day I hoped he liked it too!! Well I am about to leave for school. So I must stop writing now!! Goodbye!

p.s. I have to tell a funny story, so Jarah yesterday brought me some sonic and we just talked for a bit and looked photos, and stuff. But on my phone I have a sticker of Arora from Sleeping Beauty and most people when you have something extra to say in a letter you say p.s. then what you want to say. Well Jarah said "I love her. p.s." It was so funny!! I love you Jarah!!!

Mind Like the Mountains

Soooooo today I got my permit!!! WOOOHOOO!! *victory dance* Yes after a year of waiting finally I got it. I believe really God was teaching me patience throughout this whole time. Because towards the end I was a little ancy and restless just wanting to have it! I will most definitely be more appreciative of it now, and be sure to be a save driver! And to all you young, old, tall, and small etc etc. people please just be kind to each other out there. No need to be impatient, well maybe but there is no use it's just a waste of energy...that's what I learned. But what I really wanted to share in this blog is this poem I wrote last year, and as I read it again last night I fell in love with it once again! Well some reasons I love this poem because it really is how my mind is. But don't read it thinking just about my mind but how an imaginative, creative, deep, wide, artistic a mind can be, and how God designed them if we just open up! (Not aiming that at anyone I promise ;D ) I dunno I hope you get something out of this whatever it may be. Poetry is AAAAAMAZING! I love it, it is such a beautiful expression of life, emotions, a moment captured in time. Well enjoy!!

~~~~~~
My mind is like the mountains.... massive, powerful.
The white misty clouds roll in, like a lacy necklace,
Resting along the ridges. The silent beauty whispers
Softly, as distant thoughts I cannot grasp.
My mind is like the mountains.
Changing with each season, but always beautiful,
With each season I learn more, mature, and grow.
Each season has its own personality. Spring is warm
And cheerful, summer blazing and exciting, fall is
Brisk and colorful, winter cold, and sad but still
Awes us with its white splendors.
My mind is like the mountains.
Some places are jagged, some smooth, some as
High as the sky, or as low as the ground; no place is
The same. The trees are my memories, each unique
In its own way. Some are older than others, some
New, sprouting everyday. The caves are memories
Wanted to be forgotten, but still linger among the rocks.
My imagination is as the animals running around
Vibrant, creative, and free.
My mind is like the mountains.
Great and mighty, no one can every fully understand...Not even me
.
~~~~~~
Thank you for reading please keep checking, life has been crazy!! I am painting my room and that has been occupying my time, its not quite finished yet. But yehh and just waiting for my permit and all. So yeah. Well comment, e-mail, and keep reading!!
peace and love!

To All The Mothers

Momma, wish I couldv'e been there in the morning to give you a pancake breakfast, with flowers and a cheesy song that is totally spontaneous and sounds like a dying cow. Then I would take you downstairs and you would find the whole house cleaned, and a nice cake saying "i love you mom" in crappy icing handwriting, then find a card with some hilarious mom joke inside then we would hug and watch movies for the rest of the day! So lets pretend that all happened :D I love you and wish you HAPPY MOMMA's DAY!!

But I also wish to thank moms all over the world for being who you are taking care of all us crazy kids. For suffering back pain, strange craving, morning sickness, and labor for us sometimes unrespectfull children! You have sheltered, cared for, kissed, hugged, stayed up all night for us and sometimes we don't even say thank you! So to all you mothers who didn't get a Happy Mothers day today. Here's a HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!! From me to you!! You all are really GREAT! So even when the times get really hard, and us crazy kids don't get along well, know we will grow up one day! And when that day comes I'm sure we will appreciate all you do for us! So I believe in you!
Moms I have a lot of respect for you, for taking care of me, and others like me. For not giving up on us after the first week of staying up all night of us crying and changing our diapers. It takes a lot to be mom! So I hope every ONE of you feels appreciated today!

I can't say THANK YOU enough!!

p.s. Dads you guys are awesome too but it's not your day so you'll just have to wait for your blog ;)

How To Comment Me

Hey everyone!! So I have gotten many e-mails asking how to leave me a comment! Which is great because it means your reading my blog!! And thank you to all who do. So instead of emailing all of you trying to explain how to leave a comment, those of you who don't know how I am going to make this simple...WITH PICTURES! Hehe. So here we go!

Step 1) Go to the very bottom of the post you are reading, and you will see this...

once you click that you will come to this screen...

Step 2) Leave your comment in this box...

After you have typed all the wonderful things you have to say to me ;) you will

Step 3) You have to type in some random letters because blogspot wants to make sure your not some hacker trying to hack my blog. So it's alright if you don't like this step, no one does, but it helps all the bloggers out there be safe. And we like that :D sooo....

Step 4) Choose which "identity" you are. For most of you, you would be clicking Name/URL because you don't have a blogspot account (if you have a blogspot account you should know what to do!!!) and just do what the picture says....

Finally that brings us to
Step 5) Preview or Post, its your decision

If you followed all these steps and successfully left me a comment then GREAT JOB!!

Hopefully this was helpfull!! If it wasn't just e-mail me with any questions you have. Keep reading and I'll keep udating ;) have a great weekend guys! Mine is going to be super busy! But thats for another blog!

Homeschool

So I read a blog about homeschooling the other day, and was angry at what I read. The man writing the blog said things like "home schoolers=anti social morons" and the thing is home schooled kids ARN'T anti social morons. I have a lot of home schooled friends who are deffinatly not anti social! The thing is, this guy thought he was sooo funny and said many smart mouth things, very mean, very rude, very unintelligent. Basically what I have to say in response to all you people who talk smack on home schooled kids need to just lay off!

See what most people don't realize, some kids don't have a choice whether they are home schooled or not, some kids do. But what does it matter to you anyway because its their life and there desicion. People could say anything makes someone "anti social" it's just the easiest to pick on home schooled kids because there are so many stereotypes about them, and so many are anti social. Or at least it used to be that way. The home schooling life is changing, there are co-ops you can go to which is basically class 2 or 3 times a week with other home schoolers. I'm just saying people have the wrong thoughts about home schooling, and really don't know how it works. So just stop making judgements on something till you know more about what your talking about.

Another reason why it bugs me people make fun of home schoolers is because some of them have handicaps and need direct attention all the time, or have social handicaps, there is nothing the kid or parents can do but love there kid enough to school them at home. I think its fine if a kid or a parents, for a dissability wants to be home schooled. I dunno this just kinda ties into don't talk about something you don't know much about, don't diss someone/something you know nothing about, except what you've heard or seen. It's lame! Personally I would never want to be home schooled, some kids do, and some kids are forced to. It's not really their fault if they are forced to be home schooled, and I'm not home schooled so it's great! My concluding thought is homeschoolers=too smart for public or private schools! Especially smarter than the guy who wrote that obscene blog.

p.s. To all you home schooled kids who are forced to be homeschooled and don't want to be...I'm sorry. But don't worry, school sucks NO MATTER WHAT!!

It's the Little Things

Today was such a good day! Jarah picked me up from school about 11:30 (don't worry it was a half day! Which is fabulous!) and we grabbed a quick lunch at Taco Bell! YUM! Then hurried over to Corrines graduation. GREAT JOB CORRINE! Jarah then had a fabulous idea to go to a bead store and make jewelry which really was a fabulous idea! I made a super dank bracelet. (over there)
About 3:40 we went and got a Jamba Juice! Second YUM!! I dunno it doesn't seem like we did much but really we did!! It was a great day just chillin with Jarah, she is probably the sweetest person I know! Tonight I am going to this thing called Spring Fling and it just an all nighter Youth Convention, I've never been so I hope its fun! So that'll be fun! So really I just really enjoy just being with people, sharing that quality time...you know! It's just great to go and make bracelets and talk. Jarah and I didn't talk about stupid gossip, movie stars, or the latest drama with the O.C. like most people do. We talked about whats going in our life, things that are relevant not just for today but tomorrow and the next day after that! We decided people don't do that much anymore, and that's really sad but so true! As I have said many times we live in such a superficial world these days, I HATE THAT! Can't people see deeper than the surface of things these days?? Please somebody who just wants to go get a coffee and talk about politics, the grass, a book, anything! I don't mind talking about boys, I like to now and again, I don't mind talking about movies and stuff like that. But please lets go have a picnic and look at the sky and talk about emotions, the world, things that people talk about but then just forget. Or lets go and just lay in the grass and look at the sky and dream together.
What I was telling Jarah today is that I saw this old couple walking together the other day and they really looked in love and it really just made my heart jump because I think that is the cutest thing ever!! There are people in this world who can stay in love! It's just the little things like a happy old couple walking together in the morning, star gazing, going to coffee just to chill. I really want to appreciate the little things in life even more than I do! Because those are the things that matter most!! The ones we can hold dearly and never forget!! So please call me up ask to go get coffee, call me up with your problems I would love to listen, whatever it is I hope to be here for you, and I will try!

Young Love

Many of you who read my Imagination blog gave me great advice about my future "huz". And so you all don't think I am desperately searching (I'm not!), I wanted you all to read this poem I wrote a while back. Even if you don't think I am desperately searching I think its a great poem and can reach many teens, and has reached many of my friends and others. I'm not one of these girls who is anxious to date, marry, or have kids. I am just letting God guide me, and one day I will meet the man of my dreams! I would be lying if I said I don't ever think about being married, my husband that whole blah blah blah. I think people should be thinking about their FUTURE love life, set goals for themselves, and let God direct them where-ever he may go. He may lead you to love early, or way in the future, don't get discouraged you'll meet the one you've been praying for! I am looking (always :P) but I'm not worried, and there really is no need to be. Anyways here is my poem, hope you enjoy it! (it's kinda long...I guess.)

Passionate

I wish to one day love deeper,
sweeter,
authentically,
romantically,
passionately,
eccentric.
Crazy?
Crazy!
Love is a word more than a word,
it's a lifestyle
The day that i find this beautiful love crazy-thing
I will know that it is love that i have been
waiting for
praying for
holding on for.
For this love will touch me softly,
it will keep me through the night,
This love will tell me what I need not what I want.
This love is the ONE that I have kept for,
the one that will be different.
This love will take me places that I have never known.
Love is a beautiful work,
a beautiful verb.
A place I can go,
a place I can be.
Not just a feeling
Not just a romance
Not just some high school pretend.
What is love?
What is loves true meaning?
Is it hugging gently in the hallway after fourth period?
Is it Holding hands as you walk down the street?
Is it when you talk on the phone six hours at a time?
Do you think you're in love;
when he gently touches you,
when she says your going to be the only one,
when he kisses you softly,
when she holds you tightly,
when you write little love notes back and fourth?
Class to class
cute glance to each other from across the room.
I believe cheap love comes young.
Cheap romance comes early.
Cheap cheap cheap!
Too young,
too early,
too fresh,
too...whatever.
Keep yourself available,
NOT helpless.
Wanting,
NOT searching.
Waiting,
NOT doing.
Why wait,
why keep clean,
till the one comes that changes.
You will get strong,
get wise,
get better.
Wait.
Wait?
Wait!
No rush
No hurry.
I wish one day that prince charming will come.
He will lift me off my feet!
Waiting is hard,
long,
annoying,
agonizing sometimes.
Still wishing that one day I will find love,
deep,
sweet,
authentic,
romantic,
eccentric.
Crazy?
YES!
But I wait.
I'll wait for you.

Sorry the poem is all over the place. It's kinda my style. I have so many more poems, I hope to post more on here! So yes this poems sounds weird but I'm saying that teens these days think that they are finding their true love in high school! Yeah it's probable but come on hardly ever do things work out it's using some stupid fake love fantasy; really shallow, all based on "feelings". When people ask me who I have feelings for I usually say "I have many feelings for many people. " and automatically they think I mean "looove!" When really I mean bad, good, sad, mad, dislike, love etc "feelings! I mean what does "to have feelings for someone" mean anyway!?! A feeling can be many things, which you can't base your life on. Yes some people have "feelings" that are right, but not always! The last thing I want to say is don't base anything dealing with your love life bf/gf stuff off of "feelings" because thats just so immature, and shallow. I could write about this forever! but I think this is good enough for right now. I need to go do homework!!

p.s. Just so you know I don't believe you need to have a blogger account to leave me comments so FEEL FREE! Thanks for reading once again!

People People, Fat People

As I was standing in line at Walmart, I was looking at all the magazine covers. And what has really been bugging me lately is things like what that lady said about Jordin Sparks. I mean seriously, Jordin was never my fave on American Idol but when I hear things like this I get really angry. The lady said that Jordin is obese, and needs to lose some weight. But i think that is absolutely ridiculous because when I look at her I see a beautiful young lady, not someone who is going to get...
"diabetes, and heart attacks" says some wench from the Obesity Awareness Organization. anyone can get diabetes, my friend does and she is no where near "fat", and heart attacks come on what a lame excuse for making her feel like a piece of crap, just because she not toothpick thin or even moderately thin. I just don't understand she's not even fat.

As I was saying about Walmart I was standing there reading the cover of magazines and one headline caught my eye "Who has HAD lypo, who WANTS lypo, who NEEDS lypo.
Ok COME ON!! Does anyone need lypo? NO! No one "needs" lypo. If you think someone does, I think your ego needs lypo! Because all lypo does is get rid of fat at that moment. It DOESN'T break the addiction of food, or laziness. Lypo is just a cheap, quick fix, And all you people who look at a "fat" person and think down about them, seriously, what is that saying about what kind of person you are. I mean what if that person is totally rad, and what if that person is going through a hard time. That "fat" person, is just like you and me, just has a different body. And that's ok! And this goes for any body. Don't look down on a black person, or homeless person, or handicapped person we're all the same. We are all nuts just with different shells. Don't think your higher than anyone else, for it is people like that who fall the hardest.

I wrote this a while ago, but I still feel the same as when I wrote it. Just wanted to get a blog down for the day. I hope I can start writing one everyday or every other day! Thanks for reading!

Imagination

My life seems to have been in the fast lane lately, and it doesn't look like its going to slow down anytime soon. So many things have been on my mind, swirling up there like a hurricane. I don't know what I want to say in this blog except, life is so short. And the reason why I say that is because IT IS! Hah. We only have one chance to live today, and still we go on afraid to step out. I just read a blog about imagination, and it made me think, why do I let people bring me down about my imagination. I'm sorry if you don't like how colorful I think, but my imagination is always going. I see, smell, hear, and taste things that others don't because I allow myself to. I live today as today, and leave yesterday behind. There is no reason why I can't dance in the rain, ride on a unicorn, sing songs that I hear inside. I dunno, but I don't care if you look at me like I'm a freak, as I skip down the street in my superman costume. It just seems no one can appreciate the small things in life anymore, as I was walking to Starbucks today I was thinking about the grass growing, strange yes, but its amazing that it is always growing! And most people wouldn't think about things like the grass they are thinking about hair, makeup, muscles, or whatever. I just like to appreciate the mountains, the trees, grass, flowers, animals, and whatever else is in this world that God made for me. I hope to one day meet someone who feels the same way, who looks at life from outside the box. But as I grow older I fear I may not meet anyone like me, who is my age. I can't say I'm not looking for someone to be my huz one day, but I can say I'm not frantic though some days it seems I will never meet my prince charming. I am still young...praise God! So I'm not too worried Haha. (That is for another blog).

I can't stand how everyone is superficial these days. Can't anyone care more about someone or something more then themselves for five seconds! And not take one look at a person and decide they're not good enough because of the way they talk, walk, what they wear, or how they think. Everyone is so different, and unique though sometimes we don't show our individuality on the surface, because we think that if we are different that people won't like us. We have taught ourselves subconsciously not to like anything different then what we think is "normal". Do you ever wonder why? Do you ever wonder what is "normal"? Who decides whats right and wrong, good or bad? God does, and God doesn't judge...so why do we? I just wish that I wouldn't have to catch myself judging people, I wish it would come naturally to except people the way they are. So as I said at the beginning life is short, and there is no time, or need to waste it on superficial things that we are always so worried about. I marching to the beat of my heart, and no one can take that away! p.s. Thank you Jimmy from Brighten for being such an amazing guy!
